 CSLNewsCSLN Expands Partnerships with Insurers The insurance industry continues to respond favorably to CSLN with more than 1,000 insurance companies now partnering with CSLN to help combat the national child support debt. Since early 2005 and with the issuance of the CSLN pamphlet detailing the benefits of and testimonials for its claims information program to more than 1,500 insurers nationwide, an additional 450 insurance companies signed agreements with the Insurance Service Office (ISO) to share claims information with the CSLN—an increase of more than 30 percent. With this increase state members are now experiencing more matches from the insurance industry who volunteered to participate with CSLN. This increase of new insurers also includes matches from significantly more “self insured” organizations who have partnered with CSLN. Much of this increase is attributed to ISO’s elimination of all insurers’
fees to participate with CSLN and national mailing campaigns designed to heighten
the insurance industry’s awareness of the program. |
