CSLNewsCommissioners Urged to Put CSLN on Agendas On Sunday, March 14, 2004, Jack Murphy, CSLN Administrator and George French, Child Support Lien Network (CSLN) Project Director attended the annual conference of the National Association. of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) in New York City, NY. At a Round Table Group Discussion, Murphy addressed the group of distinguished state officials and urged them to encourage insurers in their respective states to adopt CSLN as the preferred method of accomplishing insurance claim intercept. Murphy briefed the Commissioners on the rapid growth of CSLN and its state members, the potential for a national initiative for insurance claim intercept and for more intrusive individual state mandates for the same, and the importance of expanding and strengthening CSLN during the remaining months of 2004. The group was asked to keep CSLN on their agendas when they meet with insurers, to invite CSLN to participate in their future meetings and conferences, and to work together with their state's child support officials in a united outreach effort to increase insurer participation on a voluntary basis.
