 CSLNewsGood News for Maine Family- CSLN Style Maine’s Division of Support Enforcement and Recovery has been participating in the Child Support Lien Network (CSLN) since early 2001. Since joining, Maine has been able to file liens against $7,000,000 in child support arrears. Thanks to CSLN, November, 2003 was a particularly successful month for Maine’s Division of Support Enforcement and Recovery. They received over $80,000, in lump sum payments. Maine also received its largest single settlement to date, in November 2003,
where $60,000 went directly to the custodial parent. During the month where
families traditionally gather to give thanks, how thankful we were to be a part
of the process that helped to deliver that check to this deserving family. We
can only imagine how thankful they are. |
