MO Collected Double-Digit Payments

The Missouri Child Support Enforcement Agency attributes an increase of more than $600,000 in support payments resulting from CSLN matches. Double-digit collections on single matches alone translated into more than $170,000 in child support payments since MO joined in 2004. (more...)

CSLN Collections Cross State Lines

While the growth of CSLN as measured in new states and new insurance companies is very exciting, the real measure of the success of the Network is the positive impact it makes in the lives of children across the country. Review of Iowa CSLN Experience

In September 2004, the CSLN team prepared a report for the State of Iowa summarizing the results of their CSLN experience for the first six months of participation in the insurance settlement intercept process. CSLN Creator Retires

Mr. Jack Murphy, Associate Director for Revenue Services-Department of Administration-Division of Taxation-Child Support Enforcement for the state of Rhode Island (RI) is retiring from state service on June 11, 2004. The Public/Private Partnership of CSLN Continues to Work…

The State of Maine had one particular family case they were diligently working in conjunction with the State of New Hampshire to collect overdue child support payments. Various child support enforcement administrative remedies were taken against a self-employed carpenter in an attempt to collect $15,900 arrears on the case. (more...)

2003 Proves a Very Good Year for Increasing Insurance Partnerships

The Child Support Lien Network now maintains data on almost 2 million delinquent obligors who owe $38 Billion in past due support from our 14 state members. Not only has CSLN increased the number of member states significantly with the additions of California, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, Texas, Virginia, and Iowa but also has had great success with outreach efforts to insurance companies. FLORIDA Receives Largest Intercept Collection on Record!

Congratulations to our CSLN member state Florida for receiving their largest collection ever from Insurance Intercepts. On September 30, 2003, they collected $73,941.14 for child support arrears. This collection also resulted in the closing of that child support case because both of the children involved are now emancipated.

The Child Support Lien Network Expands Again!

We are pleased to welcome two new member states: Virginia and Iowa. With the addition of these two states, the CSLN now has over 1.8 million non-custodial parents owing past due child support payments who are matched daily against pending liability and workers compensation insurance claims for the purpose of intercepting such claim settlements.
